PRERANA , Officers Wives Association was registered as a Society in the year 1988 with its first President as Mrs.Jayashree Phene.
What we strive for:
The objects of the establishment of PRERANA are as follows:
- To help the needy, handicapped and destitute persons
- To render assistance to the deserving persons during normal circumstances and during stress situations
- To organise lectures, seminars and workshops on current issues
- To organise debates, quizzes and various competitions for children and ladies
- To arrange variety entertainment programmes for fund-raising,publishing of souvenirs and other printed materials
- To increase the public awareness by undertaking programmes for eradication of social evils
- To promote social and cultural activities amongst ladies including members and their families
