On 21st December, Prerana distributed sweaters to the students and learning facilitators of Injot Learning Centre, Kamrup. Prerana President Rashmi Barua Ma’am and Prerana members Priti Joshi, Priyam Sinha and Anjali Ekka visited the centre. They were welcomed in the traditional adivasi custom of washing of the hands and beating of drums and singing.
The children, did a welcome action song and performed Jhumur dance.

President Ma’am addressed the students, facilitators and the parents.
Children showed their Injot Backyard Farm, where they learn about germination n science through experiential education.

The children were extremely overjoyed to have their first guests and to receive the sweaters.
Prerana members also enjoyed and joined in the dancing. The villagers also started dancing and it was an overwhelming experience.
