Dr-Aparna Manvendra Singh, Mrs. Navya Mehrotra and Mrs. Swetangana Bhuyan hosted the 2nd club meet of the year under the theme ”The umbrella stories” on the 29th May 2022 at the Deputy Commissioner Kamrup Metro’s residence. They invited the Whitley Award winner Dr. Purnima Devi Barman, who is a wildlife biologist and conservationist from Assam working for the conservation of the greater adjutant stork locally called Hargila. She shared an interesting presentation on the Hargila birds and the Hargila army which is a women lead initiative to save the endangered bird.
