Mrs Suman Pipersenia welcomed all the members present. She introduced all the office- bearers of “The Indian Council for Child welfare-Assam Branch”.

Childline is a national 24 hour free emergency phone out-reaches service for children in need of care and protection linking them to long term rehabilitation and care. They have come to meet the members of Preranas an awareness programme that they were observing as “Childline se Dosti” week. They thanked Prerana for always rendering help to Childline from very early days till date with funds from Prerana which helped them to develop infrastructure and facilities. They tied friendship bands to the Prerana members and gave them relevant documents like their monthly magazine etc.

They also invited Prerana to an event that they were observing at Gauri Sadan, Dighalipukhuri on 20th Nov 2015 as a mark of International Children Day
