“Financial aid to ‘Early Intervention Ward of Guwahati Medical College by giving life saving drugs to critically ill new borns.”

Under the guidance of Mrs Suman Pippersenia (President Prerana) Mrs Anjana Jain,Mrs Shakuntala Mewara & Mrs Nirupama Cairae took the initiative to help the patients Pediatric department of Guwahati Medical College.When we contacted the HOD we became aware of acute shortage of a life saving drug for premature babies. The babies. The drug was not only very expensive but at times it could not be procured by the parents within time.

With the support of the Executive committee & all the members of Prerana 6 phials of Cerfactum was given to the Pediatric department. The drug availability helped save the lives of many neonates.

In fact when this was brought to the notice of NHRM they decided to supply this drug to the Medical College.Thanks to Prerana which brought a smile to the lips of many parents.
